Holly Hedge

Providing shelter from harm and the promise of a brighter future

The Holly Hedge 2017 Calendar has landed!

This stunning A3 per page wall calendar has been made using pictures from the supporters of Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary.
The funds raised from the competition which owners entered to get their pets in the calendar enabled us to cover the cost of printing so that now 100% of all funds raised from these lovely calendars go straight in to the sanctuary and will help us to pay for things such as our ever increasing veterinary bills
Calendars can be bought from the sanctuary, at the Nailsea shop or ordered online here or over the phone.

Welcome to Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is filled with little faces pleading ‘Please choose me’ from the very young to the very elderly - some are traumatised at losing their home and owners, others are just unwanted or abandoned and left to fend for themselves. They are all keeping their paws crossed hoping to be chosen as someone’s special pet and to be loved and wanted once more.

Each of our rescues has their own story to tell. They all need our help but at least they are safe, well-fed and loved until the right new loving home comes along. Could you find a place in your home and heart and be rewarded with a friend and companion for life? For more information on the Sanctuary, please click here.

Bringing your new pet home

Reuben's Pet Care Centre
  • Building Work

Please note that we currently have extensive building work on site, as we knock down and replace our existing ancient and dilapidated kennel block. These essential works will cause disruption to site, with our already limited parking facilities being stretched even more! The building work is anticipated to last until Christmas - full details and plans for the new kennels are available to view via our news and appeals section. We will still be taking in and rehoming cats and dogs during this time (operating our usual opening times) and will need our volunteers, adopters and supporters more than ever. Please bear with us whilst we make the living accommodation far cosier, brighter, quieter and designed for optimum animal welfare for the dogs in our care.

  • Please help us build our dogs a new home

We have at long last been granted planning permission to add an extra 5 kennels which will help relieve some of the pressure and take in more deserving cases...
