Our stunningly handsome Neo was found as an unneutered stray who was very worried on arrival at Holly Hedge so has been living with one of our wonderful foster carers. His foster mummy has worked wonders on him and has had him for 7 months now and, although she loves him dearly, she just can’t understand why Neo hasn’t been snapped up into his ‘forever home’ as he is such a fabulous young chap.
Neo was very jumpy and nervous at first, but since benefiting from the safety and comforts of a loving home environment, he has really gained in confidence and sure does know how to relax and enjoy himself! That said, he will definitely need time and patience from his new owners as he will understandably be nervous again in a new setting, so a nice quiet and understanding home will be ideal for him – and in return you will be rewarded with a marvellous companion who really does have the most endearing and cheeky personality.
Neo loves toys and catnip and really enjoys chasing balls or wand toys, although he gets bored quite quickly and doesn’t play for long! He really does have a wonderful funny character and makes his foster mum laugh every day! He’s not really a lap cat, (unless he wants feeding, in which case he’s all over you!) but he’s very friendly and affectionate. He likes his own space too and revels in basking in a sunny spot by the window!
Neo can be quite feisty, but could potentially live with sensible older children who can respect his boundaries and recognise when he needs his quiet time.
After his time straying, Neo has been diagnosed with FIV, so will need a cat proof garden or ‘catio’ so that he can be safe from other cats whilst still enjoying some fresh air, as he would not be suited to solely living indoors. He would absolutely love to go outside to sniff about and feel the wind in that beautiful soft, silky long coat of his!
If you think you could give Neo what he needs, please do get in touch with us, thank you. >^..^<
