Jaxon is a super handsome cuddle monster and everyone who meets him just instantly falls in love with him! Sadly, this dear boy needs a major operation to repair his cruciate ligaments to both hind legs, which we want to arrange as soon as possible to ensure he can live life to the full, free from any pain or discomfort. Holly Hedge will fund this procedure, (hopefully with the help of an appeal) and ideally we’d like to get him into his ‘forever home’ before the surgery, so that he will already be settled in the place where he’ll subsequently need to convalesce. Although Jaxon currently lives with another dog, he would much prefer to live as the only pet, and is being rehomed from his own home as he doesn’t like to be let alone and wouldn’t cope in the kennel environment. He is also an a special raw diet to help combat allergies. We are looking to rehome him with someone who has experience of bull breeds where he can receive plenty of company in a calm and loving home. Jaxon will also need his new owner(s) to be able to take him for his surgery in Bristol, so they will need to be fairly local to avoid a long journey after his operation and for post op checks. They will also need to be around a lot of the time to help with his recovery.

If you have space in your heart and home for this oversized ‘lap dog’ and feel you can meet his needs, then please do get in touch with us. Thank you.

To apply for Jaxon, please email info@hollyhedge.org.uk stating your current situation and work hours and reason for wanting to adopt. Please note, we will only be able to accept applications that match his needs. Please also consider if your working hours and situation will still be suitable on a long term basis.

Due to limited staffing and the high level of inquiries at present, there may be a delay, but we will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.
