Little Max is full of character and a typical Frenchie who can be a little bossy at times. After sadly finding himself in a couple of different homes, Max struggled to settle and grew increasingly anxious around young children, barking at them to do as he wanted. His way of communicating was often perceived in a negative way and he will need an understanding owner, ideally someone with breed experience to understand his ways. Max like many frenchies, was born with a very short nose and therefore struggles to breath when exercising so will need BOAS surgery as soon as possible to help his breathing and make him more comfortable. We would like to find Max a home that would be happy to look after him during this time but they would need to be able to transport him to the vets for his surgery and check ups. We expect Max to make a full recovery and be a much happier little dog. Ideally Max will need a home as an only pet as he really isn’t keen on other dogs or small furries, and a home with older teens or adults who can give him a bit more of a quieter life.

To apply, please email stating your current situation and work hours and reason for wanting to adopt. Please note we will only accept applications that match their needs, and due to the current pandemic, most animals will not be able to be rehomed until restrictions have eased. Please also consider if your working hours and situation will still be suitable on a long term basis.

Due to limited staffing and due to the high level of inquiries at present, there may be a delay but we will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.
