Meet our very gorgeous Ellie, who sadly came into us as a stray so we don’t have any history on her. This super friendly girl loves meeting new people, and she especially loves Tuesdays, when she becomes the centre of attention with our corporate volunteer groups! Ellie enjoys a short walk, but wants nothing more than a snooze on a sofa and a cuddle with her human.
We have found Ellie to be great with all the dogs that she has been around here with us, and she could live with another dog of the right match.
She has hip dysplasia in her left hip, which is currently being managed with daily joint supplements and weight management. This doesn’t affect Ellie in any way at the moment, and Holly Hedge will always cover any vet bills due to her hip dysplasia.
Ellie is a pretty good all-rounder. She’s great with the vet, enjoys a trip in the car, is super smart and picks up new things really quickly. She loves her food and is on a raw food diet.
Ellie has been muzzle trained as she can grab clothes when overwhelmed, but this hasn’t happened in ages and we feel was due to her being in a kennel environment. But now that she has grown in confidence and has a nice routine with us, she has blossomed into an adorable cuddle monster, no longer the sad, anxious girl who we first met.
