Please adopt Bear (Staffy X)

Meet Bear, this gorgeous boy really loves people.  He’s very affectionate and loves cuddling up on the sofa with his humans.  Bear is a medium sized dog, although he looks a large lad in his photos!  Due to being attacked by another dog at a young age, he is a little wary of other dogs.  He has made friends with some dogs, but  can lunge at others.

In the home Bear is a really good lad.  He knows basic commands, has no guarding issues, although he will steal your food given half the chance and he will steal the post if can get to it before you!  He is fine being left for a few hours, but will whine if he feels he isn’t getting enough attention when his humans are around. Outside the home he has good recall if no other dogs are around.  On the lead he is prone to jumping up at his lead.  So this is something that will need to be worked on in his new home to make his walks more enjoyable for everyone.

For Bear we are looking for a calm, quiet home.   A place with someone who will have the time and patience to help Bear become more relaxed on his walks and be able to give him the company and affection that he loves.
