Meet Buster, our super cute Jack Russel who may be small in size but has a big personality! Buster is so much fun to have around and loves going for long walks around the woods and having a good run around our rescue fields. Buster is super smart and knows loads of cool tricks which he will happily show you in exchange for some tasty treats.

Buster can be quite an anxious boy and sometimes struggles meeting new people, however he has made lots of progress and has so many people friends now. Once he knows you, he is super affectionate and loves a cuddle on your lap. Buster loves to have company and would benefit from having someone around most of the time that he can spend time with. A calm, quiet household would be ideal for Buster.

Being a sensitive guy, Buster is quite worried by loud sounds and fast movement and sometimes reacts to bikes, motorbikes and other large, noisy vehicles going past. However, we have been working on this and he’s getting better each day and copes really well walking down quiet roads that aren’t too busy.

Because Buster can react to new people and is not very well socialised with other dogs, we made the decision to muzzle train him and he now loves wearing his muzzle. Since wearing his muzzle, his world has opened up and he’s able to do so much more now and is gradually getting used to the things that he finds overwhelming.
