Please adopt Jasper (Belgian Malinois)

Jasper is a real character and loved by us all!  He was found with his dad as strays and is looking for his forever home or a foster home.
Jasper is a typical Mali, he’s as bright as a button and is always up for learning new tricks. This cheeky chap will certainly keep you on your toes and he absolutely adores interaction.

Jasper ha had a really tough start to life as he was recently diagnosed with steroid responsive meningitis, so he is currently on a strong course of medication.  Holly Hedge will continue to cover the cost of this, even when he finds his forever home.  For this support to continue we would ask that you live within a 30– 45 minute radius of Holly Hedge or our vets in Portishead.

Ideally we are looking for his new owners/foster carers to have some previous experience of working with this breed.  Once he fully recovers, Jasper would love a calm but active home where his exercise and mental stimulation needs are fully met!  He still has some work needed/achieved around socialisation with other dogs, but we are fully confident he will get there.  Jasper missed out on his early socialisation and unfortunately being ill has held him back a bit more, so he is playing catch up.

Jasper is a firm favourite here at the sanctuary and this gorgeous young lad never fails to make us all smile on a regular basis.
