Please adopt Millie (Shih Tzu X Bichon Frise)

Meet beautiful little Millie, who is being rehomed due to a change in circumstances.  Millie is a nervous, sensitive soul, who is worried by loud noises, fireworks and motor bikes etc.  She is wary of new people and will bark at strangers, but with her owner she is affectionate, playful and enjoys a cuddle.

Millie travels well in the car, and although being nervous, she does cope with a visit to the vet.  Her biggest fear is around being groomed and having her nails clipped, and this has led to her nipping her owner in the past.  Millie has been seen regularly by a vet and is in good health, though she will need a restart of vaccinations which will be covered by Holly Hedge.

For Millie we are looking for an experienced home of the more nervous dog, with someone/people who will have the time and patience to allow Millie to settle into a nice routine at her own pace.  She is going to need to have someone who is around a lot of the time, and will need work on being socialised around other dogs.  Millie is just lacking in confidence, but that can be built up over time in a calm environment with lots of TLC and patience.
