Our annual fun day is back! Set in the idyllic Ashton Court Estate, there is certainly no shortage of attractions! From our popular Fun Dog Show, Ultimate Ninja Warrior Dog Activity Zone (trust us, it’s amazing and you will want to bring your camera!), Photo Entry Cat Show, children’s activities, Doggie Games, refreshments and agility demonstrations from South West Dog Skills (with the chance to have a go yourself!) – to our ever popular market place, brimming with everything from fine foods to beautiful artwork and homeware!
With such an extensive array of attractions on offer, you and your furry best pal won’t want to miss out on the opportunity be among like-minded individuals (and dogs). Fun Day is an event like no other and draws a diverse crowd from Bristol, Somerset and the surrounding areas.
Our amazing raffle includes £100 cash prize, an Indi Mountain Bike, Afternoon Tea for two at your choice from over 400 venues, a portable TV and more! Tickets are £1 and sold at our Sanctuary and our charity shops in Nailsea and Weston. Draw takes place 3.30pm!

We will also be collecting for the Christmas Shoebox Appeal.

On 15th December we’ll be singing carols at Cribbs Causeway to raise funds for our animals, and we’d love you to join us! Last year we raised £200 – enough to heat 3 kennels for a month! - Buying a ticket beforehand ensures you get your very own bag of rations. Tickets are £12 each when bought in advance.

This year instead of having our usual Fun Day we are hosting The Big Weekend In!
We will have a Dog, Cat and All Creatures Online Pet Show with winners to be announced by some special judges. The Online Pet Show will open August 3rd and be hosted on our website, so watch out for the link here!

We’re looking for heroes to make a splash for our animals in need!
Would you jump into the Marina to be rescued by a 150lb, web-toed gentle giant to make a better life for our rescues?
You can make a real difference by doing something exhilarating! How does it work? You register and pay the £25 registration fee, start fundraising to reach a minimum of £130 in sponsorship, then take the plunge surrounded by your friends, family and Holly Hedge supporters.

Come celebrate and kick off the festive season at the Holly Hedge Christmas Fair, where you’ll find an array of traders selling seasonal delights, crafts, and unique items which are perfect for those hunting for that special Christmas gift.
Visitors can enjoy delicious drinks, festive yumminess, and all-around festive cheer!
Long Ashton Village Market Saturday 4th December 9:30am – 1:00pm
Holly Hedge will be there running the cafe and will also have a stand with merchandise and Christmas goodies.
The Market requests a nominal entrance fee, (all of which will then be donated to Holly Hedge!)
They will also have a resident Santa and will be running a raffle and proceeds from the raffle will also go to Holly Hedge!

At the Avon Riding Centre where our friends from THE DOG SALOON & DOGGY DAY CARE Pet Groomers are putting on another Fun Dog Show and this time with a Christmas theme. There will be lots of stalls to browse through their Christmas market, as well as all these delightfully named classes. Moreover, there’ll even be a chance for your furry friends to meet Santa Paws! Their raffle will also be to raise funds for our animals and we are so grateful for their continued support. We’re really looking forward to being there again and to seeing all the lovely dogs and their owners.
