Please adopt Jasper (Belgian Malinois)

Handsome Jasper is looking for his forever home after a challenging start to life.  Jasper was found straying as a young pup and then sadly had meningitis.  He was on medication for quite a while, but is now fit as a fiddle and looking for new adventures.

Jasper loves long walks and would make the perfect adventure/hiking buddy.  He can be strong on the lead but walks nicely most of the time and engages well on walks.  He has some good basic training for new owners to build on with positive reinforcement. He’s super smart, knows loads of tricks and is very advanced with scent work, he just loves to learn new things!

He’d dearly love a home that can carry on his scent work or maybe take up man-trailing or another Malinois specific sport to keep his active brain busy.  Jasper loves kongs, chews, puzzles and enrichment to keep his busy brain occupied, but in his down time he is a super cuddly giant lapdog when indoors!

He can be full on with other dogs as he missed out on socialisation when he had meningitis, so is still learning some manners.  However, he could potentially live with another shepherd/Malinois/high energy large breed dog that would be equally matched in energy levels, pending successful introductions/meets.

For Jasper we are ideally looking for a home that has  Shepherd/Malinois or similar high energy breed experience.
