Please adopt Malaya (Rottie)

Please meet our big beautiful Malaya, also affectionately known as May.  She came to Holly Hedge due a change of circumstances and is keen to find her forever home with a big comfy sofa!

Malaya is an absolute cuddle bug and really doesn’t understand what personal space is.  If you’re sitting down, she’ll sit on you while looking very proud of herself!

Malaya will need experienced owners with knowledge of big guarding breeds.  Whilst we have seen no signs of guarding, she can react to postmen and things that make her jump!  Malaya can be more nervous of men, so while she’s been in our care we have introduced men slowly and she is now firm friends with all her carers!

Malaya will need an adult only home but mainly due to the fact she will need that 1-2-1 attention to help her brush up on her manners and basic training.  She would however be very happy with visiting, dog savvy, older teenagers!

With Malaya being around 47kg, and very strong on her lead, she will need her new owners to commit to helping her learn to walk nicely on the lead.  We know Malaya responds really well to positive reinforced training as her recall has really improved!
