Please adopt Poppy (Yorkshire Terrier Cross)

Beautiful little Poppy is sadly looking for a new home as she isn’t getting along with the other dog in the home.  This super smart little girl is wary of new people, but comes around with time and patience, and once she does she is a loving, loyal companion, and never far from your side.  She loves to play with her toys and teddies and is a real sunworshipper (when it’s out!)

Poppy is a typical terrier with an active mind who likes to be kept busy.  She loves her walks and has good recall with her owners, not really going that far from them.

From Poppy’s medical history she looks to be in good general health.  She is mostly okay with other dogs when out and about, but can be a little reactive to bigger dogs.  That being said, we feel she would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
Poppy can be protective over her food and toys, so for her we are looking for a calm, experienced home of the terrier breeds.  A place with someone/people who will have the time and patience to allow her to settle into a nice routine at her own pace, and who can provide her with the company and adventures on which she will thrive.
