Please adopt Spot (Beagle x Springer Spaniel)

Meet Spot, this handsome boy is looking for a new home, as his owners are struggling to meet his needs with a young family to care for.  Spot is an intelligent lad who knows basic commands and much more.  He has bags of energy, loves his walks and has good recall, though he needs some work with walking on the lead.

This gorgeous lad just needs to be with someone who will have the time, patience and the right environment for an active, energetic dog who has developed some anxiety led behavioural issues.  He will bark at people he is not familiar with and does take time to warm to new people, needing to be muzzled at the vets.  He can also react to cars and other dogs, which is displayed by lunging.  But he has never bitten and all of these behaviours are outside of the home.  In the home with his owners he is a calm lad, with good manners.

So for Spot we are looking for an experienced owner, in a more rural location.  A place where there are fewer triggers for him.  He needs someone/people who will have the time and patience to work with him on his socialising skills outside of the home.  With the right owner he has the potential of becoming a loyal companion.  Do you have the time and a space in your heart and home for Spot?
