Please adopt Suki (Crossbreed)

Beautiful Suki is very friendly with people and loves to have company throughout the day, as she does struggle with some separation issues. This is likely due to the fact  that she’s had an unsettled start and spent a fair amount of time in kennels.  However, Suki loves her food and doing various enrichment activities which will help her new owners to work on her separation issues. For Suki, we are looking for someone who is about most of the day to keep her company whilst they work on her separation anxiety.

Suki gives the best cuddles and will try and cuddle up on your lap if you give her the opportunity.  She’s also super smart! She has some good basics that her new owners can build upon.  She knows sit, down and paw and she walks beautifully on the lead too. Her recall will need a bit of work, but she’s super smart.  So we are sure this is something that she’ll pick up quickly with the right positive reinforcement training.

We’ve begun to socialise Suki here at the sanctuary with some of our calmer dogs and she does struggle with frustration during the initial interaction.  She can be very vocal initially, but soon settles down and can then walk calmly with them. However, this is something that her new owners will need to be mindful of and will need to have access to quieter places where there are fewer dogs whilst they work on her social skills.

Please do contact our rehoming team for more information. Thank you.
