LOVING FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR OUR BELOVED TED
Meet Ted, our super handsome Husky X. Ted originally came into us as a stray back in 2017 being one of the saddest cases we had ever dealt with. He was very emaciated, weighing a mere 13kg with an estimated age of two. But with lots of TLC from our carers he came on leaps and bounds, regaining weight and strength. He weighed a healthy 25kg when he was adopted into a loving home.
Sadly Ted has been reluctantly returned to us due to there now being a young child in the home. As Ted is a little sensitive about his back end being touched, they thought it best to err on the side of caution. Whilst Ted has previously shown that he can be a little uncomfortable with his back end being touched, he has developed strong bonds with some of the staff here. He’s shown that once he trusts and feels safe with you, he is quite happy to be handled in that area. In fact, he will actively offer you his back end for a gentle fuss if he feels comfortable. He’ll simply move away if he has had enough, which is an amazing choice for any dog to make.
Ted is a real gentleman; he walks nicely on the lead, has good manners and good basic training for his new owners to build upon. This popular lad is a firm favourite with some of our volunteers and he has loved making new human friends. He really enjoys going out in the car and for walks in quieter places where he doesn’t have to worry about other dogs. He knows lots of tricks and loves to learn new things. Ted is also a massive foodie which will help with any ongoing training as he will do ANYTHING for a treat! No puzzle is too difficult for Ted to solve. Our clever boy loves doing puzzles and various brain games because he is super smart. Please do get in touch with us for more information about dear Ted. Thank you so much.
Could you be the special one(s) to help this gorgeous boy? If so, please contact us on: info@hollyhedge.org.uk He’s waiting patiently for that email!
