We love nothing more than hearing how our ex-residents are getting on just after they’ve set off to their forever homes and some of them even email us personally with their news and what they’ve been up to! Like Lady, who’s since taken ownership of the sofa, been showered with toys and presents and has got to feel the sand between her toes at the beach. We think it’s safe to say she’s taken to life in her new home like a duck to water, as these quotes from some of her emails confirm:

Hello Holly Hedge friends! It’s me, Lady. Just thought I’d check in and let you see how it’s going. I’ve been a good girl, sleeping in my bed all night and have even had some sniffs and waggy tails with some other doggies on my walks already!

They’re getting me fitted for my new harness and collar tomorrow, so I’m hoping to visit and say hello on Saturday morning so you can have the other one back to help another doggie.
