In September 2009 it was our luck to adopt 2 beautiful black and white cats from Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary. At 17 weeks old Ronnie and Reggie who were brothers came to their forever home, both with amazing characters. Sadly we had to say ‘Goodbye’ to Reggie 3 years ago due to kidney failure, it was one of the hardest decisions we ever had to make, but Golden Valley Vets were fantastic. Ronnie who is now 13 years old has some arthritic problems but we have to say he is certainly ‘The Boss’ in our house. We have many friends and neighbours who absolutely adore him and he is always ready to welcome any visitors. We would also like to say to anyone who is thinking of adopting any animal, Holly Hedge is an amazing charity and does such fantastic work for all the animals which we always like to support. We can’t imagine life without Ronnie (and of course our precious time with Reggie). Ronnie continues to give us so much love and attention and of course it is reciprocated.
